Michael Pettes works from his studio in Caledon. He is self taught as an artist, as well as being trained and practicing as an architect. His art is more raw than perfect, more intuitive than learned. A contrast from the precision of designing buildings, yet his art has a very architectural feel to it. His process involves the assemblage of materials, usually found or recycled materials.
